April 2008 Rora Tanaka speaks at the 2008 ILTA conference in London. She addresses the merits of e-billing to UK law firm representatives.

March 2008 Rora Tanaka retires from Morgan Stanley after 14+ years. In her last position at Morgan Stanley, she headed Legal Technology Strategy and successfully led one of the most extensive e-billing implementations. Under her leadership, and in less than one year, legal e-billing was implemented to over 1800 users across multiple business units and subsidiaries, and with over 735 law firms and legal services vendors participating.
